Angela Cao Appointed to the Advisory Committee to the Judicial Council at CBABC

Queenstone Law is pleased to share that our Principal Lawyer, Angela Cao, has been appointed to the Advisory Committee to the Judicial Council at the Canadian Bar Association, British Columbia Branch.

This committee supports the Judicial Council of British Columbia in its work of reviewing applicants for the Provincial Court Bench. Members prepare confidential reports that help the Judicial Council assess candidates who are seeking judicial appointment. It is careful, thoughtful work that contributes to a fair and transparent process for selecting Provincial Court judges.

For Angela, this appointment reflects a long‑standing commitment to accessible advocacy and to strengthening the justice system for the communities we serve. Through her litigation practice, she has seen firsthand how important it is for British Columbians to have confidence in the courts and in the people who serve on the bench. Contributing to this process is both meaningful and deeply aligned with the values that guide Queenstone Law.

Our firm is proud of Angela’s continued service to the legal community and her dedication to supporting a strong, independent, and principled judiciary in British Columbia. We look forward to the work ahead and to the positive impact this role will have on the broader justice system.
